On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Boston EMTs and Boston Police officers from District A-15 and A-1 responded to a 911 call reporting that a person had been shot at 50 Tufts Street in Charlestown.

Upon EMS arrival, EMTs quickly located the male victim who was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. EMTs stabilized him and transported him to a local hospital to receive further treatment. His injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening and he is expected to fully recover.

Police officers also arrived at the scene with the K-9 Unit canvased for additional evidence. Multiple spent rounds and other evidence were found in the area as well. Sources close to the investigation tell us the shooting resulted as a dispute between two men who were involved with the same woman.

Police are still investigating this incident and there is no further information at this time. The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact A-1/A-15 Detectives at (617) 343-4248.
