Boston Police Investigate Shots Fired on Torrey Street Saturday Night

At approximately 17:45 hours on Saturday, November 26, Boston Police officers assigned to District B-3 responded to a ShotSpotter activation and a 911 call reporting shots fired near Torrey Street. The caller reported that they heard about four rounds go off in the area.

When Police arrived at the scene, they quickly started marking evidence and searching for any witnesses and possible suspects. They also taped off Torrey Street to redirect traffic away from the crime scene. Officers discovered multiple spent shell casings on the road that they marked as evidence.

Multiple witnesses that were near Torrey Street at the time all reported that they heard shots fired. The initial call also reported that they heard a car drive away from the scene, but that has not been confirmed by police. No suspects have been arrested.
