Woman Hospitalized After Being Shot on Westmore Road Saturday Evening

At approximately 17:30 hours on Saturday, November 26th 2022, Boston Police officers along with Boston EMS responded to a 911 call where the caller stated she had been shot multiple times on Westmore Road. Multiple other calls quickly followed.

When first responders arrived, they immediately located the victim who was suffering from apparent injuries from a gunshot wound. The victim stated that the shooting was most likely captured on her Ring camera. She appeared to be stable, but EMTs decided to transport her to a local hospital so that she could be evaluated further. No other victims were found at the scene.

Police quickly started receiving reports about the possible suspect involved in the shooting. Witnesses described him as a black male with a bald head who was wearing a brown jacket. Witnesses also reported seeing a grey truck speed toward Harvard Street and Police urgently followed that lead. However, Police have not located the suspect and no arrests have been made at this time.
