BREAKING: Three ‘Students’ Stabbed After Incident Near TECHBOSTON Campus Monday Afternoon

At approximately 14:42 hours this afternoon, Monday, January 30, 2023, Boston Police Officers from Districts C-11 and B-3 responded to a 911 call for a person with a gun in the area of Armandine Street and Washington Street, near the TechBoston Campus. Boston Public Schools Safety Services also radioed in a report to Boston Police Operations that there was a large fight involving weapons at or near the school and they needed assistance.

As Officers responded, the dispatcher continued to provide updates including a suspect description, flight path towards Ashmont Station, and that the incident may have occurred on the school’s basketball court. Transit Police were also notified that the suspects may be fleeing in their direction.

When police arrived on the scene, they quickly located two victims, who were identified via radio traffic as ‘students’, stabbed and bleeding. Boston EMS was requested to the scene as officers began rendering aid. A third victim was located and also attended to by Boston EMS a short while later.

Officers from Boston and Transit Police also quickly located the alleged suspects in the area of Ashmonth Street and placed at least one male into custody. The suspect was unofficially identified by law enforcement sources as Deonte Wall, a TechBoston Student, but no further information is available. At this time Boston Police would only confirm that they did respond to the call but would not provide any further information.
