The Savvor Lounge has a reputation for attracting rowdy, violent crowds, and this incident is just the latest in a series of violent incidents and rule breaking that have become synonymous with the venue. The owners of Savvor have a lengthy “rap-sheet” with city licensing and have been the center of ongoing efforts by Police, the City and community members to shutter the problematic venue that allegedly operates as an illegal nightclub.

As of now, the police have not identified any suspects in connection with the shooting. They are urging anyone with information to come forward and help them in their investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact A-1 Detectives at 617-343-4571.
