5 Displaced After Early Morning Fire in Roslindale

Boston Firefighters from IAFF Local 718 sprung into action early this morning, responding to a call for a house fire on Cedrus Road in Roslindale. Upon arrival, the brave men and women of Boston Fire found the situation to be severe, with heavy flames emanating from number 58.

Without hesitation, the crews immediately got to work, attacking the fire. Their swift and efficient response meant that the fire was quickly contained, and prevented from spreading to other homes in the neighborhood. The skill and experience of Boston’s Jakes were on full display as they tackled this dangerous situation head-on.

As a result of the fire, five adults were unfortunately displaced from their homes. The Red Cross was quick to respond and provide assistance to those affected. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported, but Boston EMS was on the scene as a precaution.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Boston Fire FIU. No further information has been provided at this time.
