On Monday, May 1, 2023, at approximately 9:00pm Boston Police and EMS responded to several 911 calls for a person shot in the 200 block of Dudley St.
Upon arrival, Boston Police located a male who was shot in the abdomen. Due to the life threatening nature of his injuries, Full-Notifications were made and Homicide was requested. He was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital in critical condition. Shortly after, additional reports from neighbors resulted in the police locating a bike that was believed to be involved. A second victim who was not injured presented himself to Boston Police as the owner of the bicycle, who stated he was robbed of it by a male with a firearm, who was thought to be related to the shooting nearby.
As of right now, the shooter has not been located and no arrests have been made. The identity and current condition of the victim is unknown, and there is no other information being provided by BPD at this time.
