A chaotic scene unfolded on Saturday night in the vicinity of Mystic St at Washington St when two males jumped out of a car and opened fire. According to sources, over 15 shots were fired in the incident that occurred at around 8:30 pm.

The gunfire resulted in a parked vehicle at the corner of Washington St and Mystic St being struck several times, causing a flat tire and shattered glass. Thankfully, no victims were found on the scene. The police are currently investigating the incident to determine if there were any intended targets.

District detectives arrived on the scene shortly after the incident and were able to process a handprint found on the hood of the vehicle for prints to identify a suspect. The police are urging any witnesses or anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and speak with investigators.

The incident has left the community on edge and residents are concerned about their safety. Police presence in the area has been increased to ensure the safety and security of the community.
