Booking Image and Report: Suspect Arrested After a Person Stabbed in Roslindale

At about 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, officers assigned to District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) arrested Charles Wilkerson Jr., 27, of Norwood. Wilkerson turned himself into police as he was wanted in relation to a stabbing incident that occurred earlier in the day.

Circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows; At about 4:46 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, officers assigned to District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury), responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at 3841 Washington Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim with an apparent stab wound to his leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers were advised that the suspect was operating a white pick-up truck and the victim was operating a shuttle van with multiple occupants.

Officers were made aware this originated from a road rage incident.  The suspect began to fight with the victim, and subsequently stabbed the victim. The suspect’s description and vehicle were broadcasted to surrounding Law Enforcement agencies. Wilkerson was charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and was arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
