In a harrowing incident earlier today, Boston Police quickly responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Gallivan Boulevard and Dorchester Avenue. The alarming incident occurred at approximately 12:15 p.m. in the afternoon, causing chaos and local lockdowns as well as heightened security measures throughout the area.

According to witnesses at the scene, a young black male dressed entirely in gray clothing was observed discharging a firearm in the middle of the intersection. The male, whose motives remain unknown at this time, took aim at a gray sedan directly in front of Boston Fire Ladder 6. A statement from the Boston Firefighters Union can be seen below:
Remarkably, all present at the scene miraculously escaped unharmed. It is believed that the sedan was specifically targeted according to sources close to the investigation, although the exact reasons behind the attack are yet to be officially released.

Authorities were immediately alerted to the situation, with Boston Police and State Police converging on the scene. The initial priority was to ensure the safety of nearby residents and secure the area. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.
Detectives responded to the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Gallivan Boulevard to gather vital evidence and reconstruct the sequence of events. Boston Police, in conjunction with the State Police, conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area in an attempt to locate the individual responsible for the brazen shooting. Despite their exhaustive efforts, the search yielded no immediate results. However, law enforcement remains committed to pursuing all available leads and leveraging their resources to bring the juvenile to justice.

As a precautionary measure, the nearby Henderson K-12 School implemented safety protocols, placing the school into a safe mode to ensure the well-being of students, faculty, and staff. Authorities worked closely with school officials to assess the situation and determine when it was safe to resume normal operations.
